I am a multimedia designer based on the South Coast, and my vision is to produce images that are fresh and inspiring, with a human touch that people connect with. I love where I live, and the calming nature of the sea and the light on the coast definitely has influence on my positive mindset and creative output. My multimedia design work draws on my multiple skill sets in graphic design, traditional and digital animation, video editing, website design features, illustration and claymation sculpture for animation.

I have been commercially producing multimedia design for over 10 years. I have produced work for video, social media content, advertising, print and websites. My freelance journey began in 2021 and ‘Saara Designed’ was born in Jan 2023. My background is BA (Hons) Media production, specialising in animation.

The key to my creative process is the ability to visualise a design and see the end point that we are aiming for. Good design usually follows an element of complexity and struggle before the end point is reached, so when we finally get there it is all the more satisfying! As a long distance runner I often find inspiration, or a way to solve a problem comes to me, while I’m out on a long run thanks to the meditative nature of the sport.

I love exploring with my clients what it is they are hoping for so we can produce creative, vibrant designs. I relish a unique design brief and a challenge, and thrive on creative collaborations.
